Always keep in mind beach safety keeps us all safe
Celebrating the 4th of July at Ocean Shores attracts many excited visitors of all ages. A sharp eye and adhere to all the fire rules can help keep everyone safe.
Please be aware that we do not have a surf rescue team in our city and there are no lifeguards on the beach.
Parents, please stay close to your children. Small ones should be within arm’s length. Keep a weather eye on older, more adventurous kids, too. It doesn’t take long for the ocean to overwhelm overly confident kids.
Be aware of the tide schedules
We recommend everyone who enters the water wears a life jacket.
Keep a blanket handy - our water is cold all year round!
Follow the campfire and fireworks rules.
Let’s make this 4th of July a safe and happy celebration for all!
