Leaf Vacuum Service Announcement

The City of Cullman Sanitation Department plans to begin its Leaf Vacuum Service on Monday, November 2, 2026. The service will continue through January 31, 2027, with multiple passes throughout the city.

Here’s what residents need to know:
  • Place leaves loose at the curb. Please do not place leaf piles in the street or roadway. Keep piles at the curb and clear of vehicles, mailboxes, and other obstacles.
  • Leaves only: Please do not place limbs, branches, sticks, trash, or any other debris in the leaf pile. Other materials can damage the equipment and delay collection.
  • Collection route: One truck will begin in the northwest corner of the city and work south toward the southwest corner. A second truck will begin in the northeast corner and work south toward the southeast corner.
  • Multiple passes: Once a complete pass is finished, the trucks will begin again. The goal is to make three passes through the city by January 31, 2027, as in previous years.
Please have your leaves ready at the curb and remember: Leaves only, no other materials, and keep piles out of the street.

Thank you for helping us keep Cullman clean and allowing our crews to provide efficient leaf collection service.
