Service disruption likely today for E 5th St in Siler City
A water tie in could result in a temporary water service outage for some Siler City customers today.
Work related to the tie in is expected to start around 11 a.m. along E 5th Street. Customers along E 5th Street and Pine Glades Avenue will likely be affected. Customers along E 4th Street near E 5th Street could also notice service disruptions while the work is being done.
Crews said they expect the tie in to take about 6 hours to complete.
Preliminary work for this tie in happened yesterday, so crews do not expect customers outside the aforementioned areas to experience any service disruptions while the work is being done.
