Sanford TriRiver Water Alerts

Planned Outage - TriRiver Water

Work on a water tie in in southern Lee County will continue Thursday night into Friday morning.

TriRiver Water crews worked on a water tie in project Tuesday night along Highway 87. The work was not as straightforward as expected; crews worked until 4 a.m. locating and testing valves. Ultimately, they determined the work would require another night to complete.

The crews will resume their work at 9 p.m. Thursday, July 30. They're confident they'll be able to finish by 5 a.m. Friday, July 31.

This tie in work will require a temporary water shutoff for customers in this area. The affected area spans Highway 87 from Cox Maddox Road south just past Commerce Drive. This includes Harvey Faulk Road and the roads stemming off of Commerce Drive.

It also includes the roads off of Cox Maddox Road -- such as Truelove Street, Meade Street, June Road, and Blumont Drive. The Wagner apartment complex will also be affected.

Carolina Trace will not be affected by this outage.
