TriRiver Water crews are working to repair a water main that was hit and damaged by a contractor in Siler City.

The damaged water main is near Highway 64 and Moons Chapel Road. In order to fix the damage, TriRiver Water crews have temporarily turned off water service for customers on Moons Chapel Road and Graham Moore Road. Customers near this area may also notice low water pressure and/or discolored water while repairs are being made.

TriRiver Water crews began work on the water main around 11:15 a.m. They expect to be finished by 3:30 p.m.
