A military drone is parked outside a hangar at Battle Creek Air National Guard Base, with text announcing, "Pardon the Noise, July 31–August 12."
BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — The 110th Wing Air National Guard, a tenant of the Battle Creek Executive Airport, will conduct a training exercise in support of Northern Strike from July 31 – August 12

While no major impacts are expected around the airport, neighbors may notice an increased military presence and heightened activity during this period.

You may observe or hear:

  • Loud noises from ground burst simulators
  • Simulated active shooter drills using blank rounds
  • Scenes resembling combat environments (near the southwest portion of the base)
