Temporary all-way stop at intersection of Columbia Avenue, Skyline Drive during traffic signal cabinet replacement work Tuesday, Sept. 29

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — City of Battle Creek Department of Public Works sign and signal crews will complete the replacement of a traffic signal cabinet at the intersection of Columbia Avenue and Skyline Drive tomorrow, Tuesday, Sept. 29.
This replacement work will require the traffic signals at the intersection of West Columbia Avenue and Skyline Drive to be powered down, and for the intersection to operate as a temporary all-way stop during this work.
Neighbors traveling in this area are reminded to be aware of crews and equipment, as well as to obey any temporary traffic control signage. There are no expected road closures during this replacement work.
Crews plan to begin this traffic signal cabinet replacement work by 7 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 29, and expect to be completed by 4 p.m. The intersection of West Columbia Avenue and Skyline Drive is expected to return back to normal operations, with traffic lights operational, then, too.
