Donate blood Sept. 15 at Battle Creek Fire Station 1

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. – Help save lives by donating blood at the Battle Creek Fire Department Blood Drive from noon to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 15, at Fire Station 1, 195 E. Michigan Ave.

The drive is hosted by the Battle Creek Fire Department and Versiti Blood Center of Michigan. A single blood donation can help patients facing emergencies, surgeries, cancer treatments, and other serious medical needs.

Appointments are encouraged, but walk-ins are welcome. Schedule an appointment online through Versiti.

Before donating, please:

  • Bring a photo ID
  • Drink plenty of water
  • Eat a healthy meal
  • Wear a shirt with short sleeves or sleeves that can be rolled up easily
