BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — Yard waste collection for Friday, Sept. 4, will be delayed and will not occur on its normal schedule.

Neighbors with Friday yard waste service should leave yard waste at the curb. Collection of the missed material will take place throughout next week, with all routes expected to be caught up and back on their regular schedule by Saturday, Sept. 12.

The delay is due to staffing shortages affecting Republic Services operations.

The city appreciates neighbors' patience and understanding while crews work to complete the delayed collections.
