Battle Creek fire and police departments launch holiday toy drives to support local families

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — The Battle Creek Fire Department and Battle Creek Police Department are teaming up with community partners to spread holiday cheer and support families in need this season. 

Battle Creek Fire Department – Toy donations for The Salvation Army 

The Fire Department is accepting donations of new, unwrapped toys to benefit The Salvation Army. Donations can be dropped off through Dec. 15 at the following locations: 

  • Station 1: 8 a.m.–5 p.m. daily – 195 E. Michigan Ave. 

  • Station 2: 8 a.m.–8 p.m. daily – 145 N. Washington Ave. 

  • Station 3: 8 a.m.–8 p.m. daily – 222 Cliff St. 

  • Station 4: 8 a.m.–8 p.m. daily – 8 S. 20th St. 

  • Station 5: 8 a.m.–8 p.m. daily – 1170 W. Michigan Ave. 

  • Station 6: 8 a.m.–8 p.m. daily – 2401 Capital Ave. SW 

Battle Creek Police Department – “Stuff the Truck” for Toys for Tots 

The Police Department is partnering with the U.S. Marines and Target for the annual “Stuff the Truck” event. Join officers and Marines outside Target, 5700 Beckley Rd., on Wednesday, December 3, from 5-7 p.m. We will be collecting toys, games, and monetary donations to support Toys for Tots. 

Together, we can make a difference for local families this holiday season.
