Battle Creek Police investigating fatal motorcycle crash on SW Capital Avenue

BATTLE CREEK, Mich. – The Battle Creek Police Department is investigating a fatal crash that occurred Monday afternoon near SW Capital Avenue and S Washington Avenue.

At approximately 4:05 p.m., officers responded to reports of a personal injury crash. Upon arrival, they found a 24-year-old man who had been riding a motorcycle involved in a collision with another vehicle. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Battle Creek Fire DepartmentLifeCare Ambulance, and the Western Michigan School of Medicine also responded to assist at the scene. The Battle Creek Police Crime Lab is conducting an accident reconstruction investigation. No further details are being released at this time.
