W Government St. at W 4th St. will be closed for approximately 8 weeks starting today as a result of construction for Area O-11, a major infrastructure project in downtown Panama City which includes brand-new underground utilities followed by repaved roadways.  

The closure is located near Destination Panama City and Hotel Indigo. Full access remains to Destination Panama City and the promenade, but the road is closed to thru traffic. 

Please use Harrison Avenue and Beach Drive as a detour.
