Description

* WHAT...For the Cold Weather Advisory, very cold wind chills as low
as 18 expected. For the Freeze Watch, sub-freezing temperatures as
low as 29 possible.

* WHERE...Coastal Bay, Coastal Franklin, Coastal Gulf, and South
Walton Counties.

* WHEN...For the Cold Weather Advisory, from 1 AM EST /midnight CST/
to 10 AM EST /9 AM CST/ Monday. For the Freeze Watch, from late
Sunday night through Monday morning.

* IMPACTS...Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops, other
sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor
plumbing.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Isolated locations may experience Wind Chills
below 15 degrees. Will monitor for any potential upgrade to
Extreme Cold Warning in future forecast packages.

Instructions

Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a
hat, and gloves.

Keep pets indoors as much as possible.

Make sure outdoor animals have a warm, dry shelter, food, and
unfrozen water.

Make frequent checks on older family, friends, and neighbors. Ensure
portable heaters are used correctly. Do not use generators or grills
inside.

Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold.
