Mosquito Spraying Scheduled for Thursday, September 17

The Warren County Mosquito Control Commission will conduct adult mosquito spraying in Hackettstown on Thursday, September 17, 2026, from 7:00 p.m. to 11:59 p.m.

Alternate date: Friday, September 18, 2026, from 7:00 p.m. to 11:59 p.m.

Locations:

• Willow Grove Street
• Riverfront Park
• Seber Road
• Alumni Fields

The application will be made using a truck-mounted ultra-low volume sprayer. The truck will be well marked as a mosquito commission vehicle.
The application will be made as close to sunset as possible to increase its contact with actively flying mosquitoes. Spraying for adult mosquitoes is done on a limited and very localized basis to protect the public health from mosquito-borne illnesses.
