9/11 Remembrance Ceremony – This Friday

Mayor Jerry DiMaio is pleased to announce that the Town of Hackettstown will host a 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony this Friday, Sept. 11, at 8:45 a.m. at the 9/11 Memorial in front of the Municipal Building, 215 West Stiger St.

As we mark the 25th anniversary of the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, the community is invited to come together to honor and remember the lives lost, recognize the courage of first responders, and reflect on this historic day.

All veteran and service organizations serving the Hackettstown area are invited to participate. The ceremony is open to all residents and members of the public.

Traffic Advisory

The following roads are tentatively scheduled to be closed from 8 to 10 a.m. this Friday, Sept. 11. Closure times are subject to change based on weather conditions.

• West Stiger Street between Route 46 (Main Street) and Beatty Street
• Beatty Street between Valentine Street and West Stiger Street
• Charles Street between West Prospect Street and West Stiger Street

Residents will continue to have access to their homes, and businesses in the area will remain accessible during the road closures.
