The El Centro City Council has unanimously approved the transfer of El Centro Regional Medical Center, including its related properties and assets, to the Imperial Valley Healthcare District.

The action, approved during the Oct. 13 special City Council meeting, marks the culmination of a nearly three-year process and an important step in the transition of local healthcare services to the regional healthcare district.
