City of El Centro Special Events: Join us for the El Centro Police Department ribbon-cutting ceremony
Join us as we celebrate the completion of the new El Centro Police Department headquarters with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday, Oct. 15, at 6 p.m.
The ceremony will take place outside the new headquarters along 11th Street, near Main Street.
The new facilities feature improved technology, expanded workspace and additional resources designed to strengthen police operations and support the department’s service to our community.
The approximately $51.5 million project was funded through Measure P, supplemented by impact fees and asset forfeiture funds. Measure P was approved by El Centro voters in 2016 to help address major capital needs in our city.
We invite residents, local businesses and community members to join us as we celebrate this important milestone for El Centro and recognize the community support that helped make the new Police Department possible.
