Following overnight storms associated with the remnants of Tropical Storm Rachel, the potential for heavy rainfall has diminished, with thunderstorm chances decreasing to approximately 10% to 20%.

However, the National Weather Service Wind Advisory remains in effect until 5 p.m. today, Sunday, Oct. 11, with sustained winds of 25 to 35 mph and gusts potentially reaching 45 to 55 mph across the advisory area.

Road Flooding and Closures
Local reports indicate that multiple roadways throughout Imperial County have experienced flooding and closures following overnight rainfall.
