Reminder: Green Business Award Application are due by March 31st.
The City of Whitefish proudly announces that the Green Business Award application is now open, recognizing local businesses demonstrating a strong commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship.
This award celebrates businesses within Whitefish city limits that actively minimize their environmental impact through sustainable practices while educating employees and customers on eco-friendly choices in daily life.
The application period is open through March 31, 2025. One winner will be selected, and additional businesses will be recognized for their environmental commitment.
A judging panel from the Climate Action Plan committee, the Sustainable Tourism Management Plan committee, and Climate Smart Glacier Country will select the winner and additional honorees.
The Green Business Award will be announced at the Whitefish City Council meeting on April 21, 2025, in honor of Earth Day on April 22. At the meeting, the mayor will formally recognize the winning business's outstanding sustainability commitment.
