City of Chino Hills City Hall Closed on June 24
City Hall, located at 14000 City Center Drive, will be closed to the public today, June 24, due to an isolated equipment fire that occurred overnight inside the building and activated the City’s fire suppression sprinkler system.
While we assess the situation, limited City services remain available by phone and online at www.chinohills.org.
Here’s how you can access City services:
Utility Bill Pay
Residents can make a payment through the City’s automatic payment line by calling (909) 364-2660 or online at www.chinohills.org/BillPay. Payments can also be dropped off in the City’s drop-off payment box located in the City Hall parking lot on the west side of the Chino Hills Library near the Police Department.
Building & Planning Services
To submit a new building or planning application, check the status of a current application, schedule a building inspection or check the status of an inspection scheduled for today, June 24, please use the City’s online Virtual Development Services portal at www.chinohills.org/VDS.
Recreation
Recreation services are available in-person at the Chino Hills Community Center, located at 14250 Peyton Drive, during normal business hours.
Passport Services
All passport appointments for today are cancelled. Staff will be contacting all applicants to reschedule for a future date or applicants can reschedule their appointments online at www.chinohills.org/Passports.
Police and Library Services
The Chino Hills Police Department building and the James S. Thalman library building are not affected and remain available to residents as normal.

The City of Chino Hills app is available where residents can report service requests to Public Works, code enforcement issues, and water leaks.
At this time, a decision has not yet been made regarding the City Council Meeting for tonight at 6:00 pm. It is still being determined if it will be conducted as normal, moved to a different location, or postponed until a later date. An update will be provided as more information is available.
