2025 Emergency Preparedness Workshop on September 18

The City of Chino Hills will host a free Emergency Preparedness Workshop on Thursday, September 18 at 6:00 pm at the Chino Hills Community Center, located at 14250 Peyton Drive. Residents will learn practical steps from the City and officials from Chino Valley Fire District (CVFD) and the Chino Hills Police Department (CHPD) on how to prepare themselves and their families for emergencies. Informational booths will begin at 6:00 pm, with the presentations starting at 6:30 pm.

The workshop will also feature a panel of telecommunications experts from major wireless carriers, including AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon, to share how to stay connected during emergencies through cell service, Wi-Fi, and their outage response protocols. Various other community partners and local agencies will be in attendance and available to provide emergency preparedness information, such as American Red Cross, Chino Hills Auxiliary Radio Team, Inland Valley Humane Society & S.P.C.A., LifeStream, Southern California Edison, and SoCalGas.

At the end of the presentation, attendees will receive a free phone stand while supplies last, and raffle prize winners will be announced.
