| Post Falls Police Department Announces Two Captain Promotions |
| POST FALLS, Idaho - The City of Post Falls Police Department has promoted Lieutenant Brian Harrison and Lieutenant Frank Bowne to the rank of Captain. |
| Both Captain Harrison and Captain Bowne bring extensive experience, leadership, and a strong commitment to public safety in their new roles, further strengthening the department’s command staff. |
| Captain Brian Harrison began his law enforcement career with the Post Falls Police Department in 2012. Over the years, he has served in a variety of roles including Field Training Officer, SRT/SWAT member, Bike Patrol officer, and Range Master. He was promoted to Lieutenant in 2021, where he supervised the Patrol Division, as well as the department’s vehicle fleet and Animal Safety operations. Harrison is known for his hands-on leadership style and dedication to both his team and the community. |
| Captain Frank Bowne began his career with the Post Falls Police Department in 2005 and has served in numerous specialized and leadership roles. He spent more than a decade as a dual-purpose K9 handler from 2009 to 2023 and has been a leader in training and instruction throughout his career. He was promoted to Patrol Sergeant in March 2018 and to Patrol Lieutenant in October 2023. |
