City of Post Falls Adopts Updated Transportation Master Plan Through 2045
POST FALLS, Idaho - The Post Falls City Council has approved the adoption of the 2025 Transportation Master Plan, establishing a long-range vision for the City’s transportation system through 2045.
The updated plan replaces the previous 2017 plan and is based on current traffic data, population trends, and projected growth. It provides a framework to guide future transportation improvements and ensure the system continues to operate efficiently as the community grows.
The plan identifies key roadway and multi-modal projects, including improvements for vehicles, pedestrians, and cyclists. Projects are prioritized over short-, medium-, and long-term timeframes, with implementation tied to future development and available funding.
Development of the plan included coordination with regional partners, technical analysis, and public outreach efforts to gather community input.
The 2025 Transportation Master Plan will serve as a key tool in guiding future development, infrastructure investment, and transportation decision-making across the City of Post Falls.
