CBJ Encourages Public to Use Park Smarter App for Convenient Juneau Parking 

The City and Borough of Juneau reminds all residents and visitors to use the Park Smarter App for fast, easy and cash-free parking payment at multiple locations. The app can be used to submit secure payments and extend your parking time remotely if needed.  

The app can be used to pay for parking in the following lots: 

• Statter Harbor Parking Lot 

• Taku Harbor Lot 

• North Franklin Lot (corner of North Franklin St. and Second St.) 

• Shopper’s Lot (corner of Main St. and Egan Dr.) 

• Whittier Lot (near Whittier Street and 3rd Ave. next to Zach Gordon Youth Center) 

• Marine Parking Garage (290 Marine Way, Level 1) 

To get started, follow these simple instructions: 

• Download the Park Smarter app to your personal device from the Google Play or the iOS App Store. 

• Create a free account and add your vehicle and payment information. 

• When you park, select your zone number (posted signage at each lot) and start your parking session.
