Juneau Residents Invited to Share Input on Downtown Waterfront Improvements Phase II – Restrooms and Covered Shelter Plans

The City and Borough of Juneau (CBJ), along with the design team of Northwind Architects, PND Engineers, Inc., Corvus Design, and Jensen Yorba Wall, Inc. will host an open house on Tuesday, April 7, 2026 to present current design concepts for new public restrooms and a covered shelter on the downtown waterfront adjacent to Peratrovich Plaza.

The project aims to provide additional restrooms and a covered shelter to create flexible, year-round public space for both residents and seasonal visitors. Improvements also include modular seating and architectural features within Peratrovich Plaza.

Meeting Details:

  • When: April 7, 2026, Open House from 5:30pm to 7:30pm, with presentations by CBJ and the design team at 5:45pm and 6:45pm.
  • Where: Northwind Architects, 126 Seward St
  • Format: In-Person only

CBJ is seeking community input on how the facility can best support a range of uses throughout the year.  Community members are invited to attend to learn more about the project, ask questions, and provide critical feedback as the project moves through design refinement.

No RSVP is required for this event.
