* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
Southwestern Madison County in northwestern Virginia...
East central Rockingham County in western Virginia...
South central Page County in northwestern Virginia...
Central Greene County in central Virginia...

* Until 600 PM EDT.

* At 512 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near
Stanardsville, or 13 miles west of Madison, moving southeast at 30
mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Damaging winds will cause some trees and large branches
to fall. This could injure those outdoors, as well as
damage homes and vehicles. Roadways may become blocked by
downed trees. Localized power outages are possible.
Unsecured light objects may become projectiles.

* Locations impacted include...
Stanardsville, Elkton, Ruckersville, Mcmullen, Quinque, Swift Run,
Shelby, Lydia, Fletcher, Hood, and Burtonville.
