Greene County officials have announced that the countywide burn ban will be lifted effective Thursday, April 30, 2026, at 4:00 p.m.

Residents are reminded that Virginia’s 4:00 p.m. Burn Law will remain in effect through May 1, 2026, prohibiting open-air burning prior to 4:00 p.m. each day.
