The Brewer Chronicle is a monthly electronic newsletter published by the City of Brewer available on the City's website.  Each issue includes a calendar of upcoming meetings, important dates and reminders, and information about topics important to our community.  Below is the link to the April 2025 issue:

2025 Annual Spring Cleanup

Each spring, the City offers free curbside collection of brush, bagged leaves, non-freon containing white goods, and metals to Brewer residents. This year the spring cleanup will take place in early May, which will also include extended transfer station hours (normal disposal fees will apply). Planning Board Meeting

Monday, April 7, 2025 at 6pm in the Council Chambers located at 80 North Main Street.  The agenda for this meeting is available here.

City Council Workshop and Regular Meeting

On Tuesday, April 8, a City Council workshop will be held at 5pm followed by the regularly scheduled meeting at 6pm.  Both meetings will be held in the City Council Chambers located at 80 North Main Street.  The agendas are available here. Council meetings may be viewed live on the City's website.  Previously recorded Council meetings are also available to view.

Coffee With the City Manager and Mayor

Join Mayor Michele LaBree Daniels and City Manager Eric Glidden in the City Council Chambers on Wednesday, April 9 at 9am for "Coffee With the City Manager and Mayor." This monthly event offers residents a unique opportunity to engage directly with Brewer’s leadership, share their thoughts on issues that matter most to them, and ask questions in a relaxed and informal setting. This month we welcome City Assessor Valerie Moon to join our conversation.  We look forward to seeing you there!

Help Keep Brewer Beautiful- Join the Ken Locke Stream Cleanup!

The City of Brewer is seeking volunteers for the 21st Annual Ken Locke Stream Cleanup on Saturday, May 17, 2025, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

This event is coordinated by Members of the Brewer Stream Clean-Up Committee.  All of the funds necessary to perform the event will be raised locally through Donations. The Ken Locke Stream Clean-Up raises awareness about storm water pollution and gives residents a chance to directly contribute to cleaner local waterways. There will be a volunteer recognition picnic at 11:00 a.m at the Joe Ferris Community Center, sponsored by Jeff’s Catering.
