Brewer Chronicle Newsletter

The Brewer Chronicle is a monthly electronic newsletter published by the City of Brewer available on the City's website.  Each issue includes a calendar of upcoming meetings, important dates and reminders, and information about topics important to our community.  Below is the link to the August 2026 issue:

Planning Board Meeting

Family Movie Night

Thursday, August 13 at 7pm on Doyle Field.  This month's movie is Disney Pixar's "Hopper’s"!  This event is free to the public.  Kids get a free bucket of popcorn, so bring the family, and enjoy a night outside!  A special thank you to Downeast Credit Union for Sponsoring this event.  More information is available in the August 2026 Brewer Chronicle Newsletter.

Fill the Bus School Supply Drive!

The City of Brewer is proud to join forces with The Heart of Maine United Way and Penquis for the annual Fill the Bus School Supply Drive! 
You can drop off backpacks, notebooks, pencils, and other essential school supplies at any of the following locations up until Monday, August 3rd:

• Brewer City Hall
• Brewer Public Library
• Brewer Parks & Recreation

You can also visit the Bangor Walmart on August 4th from 10:00am-2:00pm to donate directly to United Way and Penquis. More information is available here!
