July 4, 2025, Holiday Closures, Hours, and Impacts
In observance of Independence Day, Town offices will be closed on Friday, July 4, 2025, and some service schedules will be impacted, as noted below. This holiday commemorates the adoption of the Declaration of Independence by the Continental Congress on July 4, 1776, which declared the thirteen American colonies independent from Great Britain.
Neither construction work nor landscaping will be allowed.
Certain Town recreation facilities, including the Par 3 Golf Course, Seaview Tennis Center, and Marina, will be open. Public beaches will have lifeguards on duty from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

- Phipps Ocean Park Tennis - Closed during construction
- Seaview Tennis - 7:30 am - 3:30 pm
- Mandel Recreation Center - Closed
- Marina - 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
- Only Seaspray Avenue south to Old South Ocean Boulevard will have residential garbage collection service on Friday, July 4, 2025. No other residential areas on the island will be serviced on the holiday.

- Parking rules remain unchanged for the holiday.
- West Palm Beach’s 37th annual "4th on Flagler" will include a spectacular 18-minute FPL fireworks display over the Intracoastal Waterway, scheduled to begin at 9:00 p.m.
