Numerous Infrastructure Improvements Underway – Stay Informed

A series of improvement projects are now underway throughout the Town, with some expected to span multiple months, including an 18-month Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) initiative that will significantly impact traffic patterns.
  • FDOT projects to begin improvements on SR A1A/ South Ocean Boulevard at the end of May 2025.
  • The FDOT improvement project is an estimated $8.3 million initiative with construction projected to last until late 2026.

Please note that construction schedules are subject to change due to weather conditions and contractor availability. Intersection of Slope Trail and Country Club Road Closure:

May 22-23, 2025: Intersection of Slope Trail and Country Club Road for equipment replacement work at the D-8 Stormwater Pump Station. Northbound traffic will be redirected east to Fairview Avenue and north to North Country Club Road. Southbound traffic on North Lake Way will be redirected east on Bahama Lane, then south on North Ocean Boulevard. The project is expected to last a couple of days, though residential access will always be maintained. We appreciate your patience and cooperation during this important infrastructure improvement.
