The Lake Trail will be closed at its intersection with Tangier Avenue beginning Tuesday, October 22, through Friday, November 22, to allow for improvement work on the wastewater and stormwater pump stations.  The Town's contractor, Hinterland Group, will complete the work during business hours and not over the weekend.

Pedestrians who would like to continue on the Lake Trail beyond Tangier Avenue will be able to detour to North Lake Way using the Lake Trail access points at Sanford Avenue and South Woods Road.  Detour signage will be posted accordingly.

The construction will take place on North Lake Trail and the west end of Tangier Avenue.  No road work is scheduled; however, the west end of Tangier Avenue will be used for permitted construction activities, parking and deliveries.
