Fire Hydrant and Water Valve Maintenance
  • The City of West Palm Beach Public Utilities Department will continue the fire hydrant and water valve maintenance program, which will run through October 21, to help ensure the City's water distribution system continues to operate safely, efficiently, and reliably, as well as support the delivery of high-quality drinking water. During this maintenance action, some customers may experience temporary sediment or slight discoloration in their water. While the water remains safe to drink, running cold water from the tap for one to two minutes will clear the discoloration.
