In observance of Martin Luther King Jr Day, Town administrative offices will be closed on Monday, January 19, 2026. Martin Luther King Jr. Day honors Dr. King’s leadership in advancing civil rights through peaceful means and reflects on the enduring importance of community involvement. 

No construction or landscaping will be permitted on this holiday.  Additional details on the Town’s construction and landscaping working hours are provided in this printable document.  

Town recreation facilities will be open as noted below, and the public beaches will have lifeguards on duty from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Service Collections:  

• There will be no yard trash collection service on Monday, January 19, 2026. Stash areas will be serviced during residential collection starting Tuesday, January 20, 2026 
• Service will be delivered as usual for all residential garbage, commercial garbage, and commercial recycling.  

Parking  

• Parking rules remain unchanged and in effect for the holiday.
