WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 6 PM SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 16 TO 6 PM MONDAY, FEBRUARY 17 * WHAT...West winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph expected. * WHERE...Portions of southern Connecticut, northeast New Jersey, and southeast New York. * WHEN...From 6 PM this evening to 6 PM EST Monday. * IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...There is the potential for isolated wind gusts of 55 to 60 mph this evening following a strong cold frontal passage and across the higher elevations north and west of New York City. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution. Secure outdoor objects.
