Share your experiences with storms and flood and wind insurance!
For many homeowners, insurance for storm impacts brings challenges. We are interviewing Hudson River region homeowners about experiences with flood and wind insurance. We aim to promote insurance practices and policies that better meet people’s varied needs.
You do not have to be insured to take part; we want to learn both from people who do and do not insure. You must be at least 18 years old. We compensate participants for their time.
Interviews last between 40 and 100 minutes and can be remote or in person. We ask about your experiences choosing to insure or not, as well as dealing with losses from wind or floods. We will work with you to set a time and place that work for you. In reports, we anonymize information to keep your participation confidential.
