Hastings Recreation: Early Bird Pool & Camp Registration from April 1 to April. 30 2026 at the JHCC
Hastings Day Camp
June 29, 2026, through July 31, 2026
The Hastings Day Camp is for all children entering first through sixth grades in the fall. The camp runs Monday to Friday from 9 am to 3 pm. There is also a before camp program which runs from 7:30 am to 9 am and an after camp program which runs from 3 to 6 pm. This camp allows children the opportunity to create science experiments, arts and crafts, music programs and sports into one, fun-filled environment. All campers go to the Chemka Pool every day to enjoy free swim and get swim lessons once a week by the experience lifeguard staff at the pool. The ratios at the camp are 1:5. All campers have the opportunity to go on five camp trips during the season.

Residents and non-residents interested in membership should complete a membership application and show their photo ID and one of the following proofs of residency:
- Utility Bill (within past two months)
- Lease Agreement (within current year)
- Property Deed
All membership applications are to be submitted in-person to the Parks & Recreation Department at 44 Main Street, or at the Chemka Pool once open.
