MIDCOAT PUBLIC TRANSIT LIMITED TEST ROUTE FOR THOMASTON

WCAP MIDCOAST Public Transportation is pleased to begin testing a new public transportation service covering the area between Thomaston and Pen Bay Medical Center. The route will test feasibility of establishing a permanent daily service for the coverage area. Beginning Tuesday, January 14 MIDCOAST Public Transportation will operate a limited test route on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10:30am starting at the Rocky Coast House of Volunteers of America located on 34 Booker Street in Thomaston. The bus will stop at Starr Street in Thomaston Behind Thomaston Grocery, the Thomaston Library, Walmart, Stella Maris House in Rockland, Knox Clinic, Rockland Public Library, Hannaford Plaza in Rockland, Shaw Plaza in Rockland and the Pen Bay Medical Center Physician Buildings. On both Tuesday and Thursdays the route will provide return Services Toward Thomaston at 1pm each day.
Costs: $2 per boarding, $1 for Senior 60+, Students & Passengers ages 6-17 and Individuals with disabilities. Children 5 and younger will ride free. 12 Punch Tickets are available $20.00/$10.00 and can be purchased by calling customer service at (207) 930-7900 Option 2. Exact fare is required for boarding. Cash personal checks and Credit/Debit cards accepted.
