Drainage Improvements Ardsley Avenue West (Lower)
The Village of Irvington will begin phase 2 of drainage improvements on Ardsley Avenue West between 71 Ardsley Avenue West and the Hudson House Garage entrance / exit starting Friday, October 23,2026. The project includes installing new drainage pipes and catch basins. Work is expected to be completed by Friday, November 20, 2026.
Road Closures & Traffic Impacts

Road Closures & Traffic Impacts
- Work Hours are approximately 7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
- Outside of construction hours, the road will be open to vehicular traffic, but parking restrictions will remain in place
- Ardsley Avenue West @ Clifton Place will be closed daily for motorists accessing train station & post office.
- Department of Public Works staff will be onsite to assist residents and delivery vehicles accessing 71 Ardsley Avenue West, Nevis Labs & Hudson House
- Vehicles required to access Train Station and Post Office will be able to do so, but will be directed by Irvington Police to use Hudson Road West
- Parking is not permitted in the metered spots along the curve on the west side of Ardsley Avenue West between Hudson House and Post Office. Signs will be posted
- Private Property at the Hudson House – No impact to the private parking lot
As work progresses, traffic patterns are scheduled to change to ensure safe and efficient routes for residents and commuters.
