Department of Public Works - NYSDOT Pedestrian Safety Improvements
Main Street @ Broadway Intersection
NYSDOT will be commencing improvements to Pedestrian Safety. Upgrades will include ADA ramps/curbs/ crosswalks & signage.
The construction is scheduled to start Wednesday October 14, 2026 and last until November 13, 2026, weather dependent.
Work will take place from 8AM - 4PM daily. Crews will be on-site but no work will commence until 9:30AM on Route 9. Police officers will be on site to assist.
