Join us on April 18th for a community-wide Volunteer Fire Department Recruitment Event, part of the statewide Recruit NY initiative! 

Whether you have always wondered what it takes to serve, are looking to give back to your community, or just want to learn more about being a volunteer firefighter, this event is for you. 

At this event you will: 
    Meet local fire fighters — talk one-on-one with current volunteers and leadership to hear firsthand what service is really like. 
    Explore firefighting and rescue equipment — see fire apparatus, gear, tools, and the station up close. 
    Learn about training and commitment — get detailed information on training requirements, schedules, physical readiness, and what to expect as a volunteer.
    Ask questions in a supportive setting — no experience? No problem. All questions welcome.
    Discover the benefits of volunteering — from community impact and personal growth. 
    Sign up on the spot — interested candidates can begin the application process that day.
