FBGC Emergency Management: Screwworm Resources (Approved Drugs/Livestock Movement Guidelines)

Fredericksburg/Gillespie County Emergency Management: We wanted to share some helpful references and resources to assist with livestock movement, treatment, and other questions you may have as screwworm response continues in our area.

TAHC has released a list of FDA-authorized and conditionally approved animal drugs for New World Screwworm as well as guidelines for moving livestock from NWS-infested zones. Producers are encouraged to review this information.

Texas A&M AGRILIFE has the "Agrilife Learn" education portal with information sheets and courses on screwworm. You can start a free account on their website to access the resources.
