The City of Carbondale is pleased to share this informational update from Jackson County Department of Highways on the new traffic signals at the intersection of Giant City Road and Pleasant Hill Road:

The City of Carbondale is pleased to share this informational update from Jackson County Department of Highways on the new traffic signals at the intersection of Giant City Road and Pleasant Hill Road:
“In an effort to reduce the likelihood of serious accidents at the Giant City Road/Pleasant Hill Road intersection, Jackson County secured safety funding to install signals at this intersection. The project is nearly complete and traffic signals at this intersection will be operational on November 14, 2024. Please be patient and take extra precautions through this intersection as the traveling public navigates this new traffic condition.”
