Carbondale Police Press Release - Business Burglaries

CARBONDALE – On December 21, 2025, at 2:54 a.m., City of Carbondale Police officers responded to a business in the 900 block of West Main Street for a business alarm. Upon arrival, officers learned the suspects forced entry into the business, causing damage, and stole property. During the investigation, officers learned during a K9 track that the suspects left the store heading north on North Oakland Avenue.
 
 At 4:23 a.m., officers also responded to a business in the 500 block of East Main Street for a report of a second business burglary. Officers learned that three (3) suspects, wearing black clothing and white masks, caused damage to the business in an attempt to break in. The suspects then left on foot, last seen heading west. At this point in the investigation, both incidents appear to be related. An image of one of the suspects dressed in black clothing and wearing a white mask can be seen below.
