Good Samaritan Ministries Withdraws Applications for Rezoning and Special UsePermits at 700 S. Oakland Ave.

CARBONDALE - The City of Carbondale has received notice that Good Samaritan Ministries has formally withdrawn its applications for Rezoning and Special Use Permits related to the property located at 700 South Oakland Avenue (cases PC 26-03, PC 26-05, and PC 26-06).
These cases were included on the published agenda for the Wednesday, October 29, 2025 Carbondale Planning Commission Meeting. As a result of the withdrawal, these applications and the associated public hearings will no longer be held.
The remaining items on the published Planning Commission agenda will still be considered. The meeting will still take place as scheduled at 6:00 p.m. in Room 108 of the Carbondale Civic Center, 200 South Illinois Avenue. The agenda for this meeting can be viewed here.
