Modified Stage 1 Water Conservation Measures

Effective today, May 1, the City of Pflugerville is implementing modified Stage 1 water conservation measures for all City water customers. Everyone must continue to use water mindfully to protect our water infrastructure, support community needs and avoid returning to higher restrictions.

Conservation remains critical to minimize the drop in lake elevation during the scheduled shutdown after Memorial Day, and to stay within the water treatment plant’s current 8 million gallons per day (MGD) capacity as construction to expand this facility continues. While customers can use additional water as outlined below, we encourage continued conservation. If daily demand exceeds 8MGD, we will have to revert back to Stage 3 Restrictions.

Visit the City's Current Water Restrictions webpage to see a full list of modified Stage 1 restrictions and the watering day schedule.
