FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: EMERGENCY REPAIR SCHEDULED FOR 2ND STREET ON WEDNESDAY, MAY 14.

Casa Grande, AZ – On Wednesday, May 14, emergency roadway repairs will be conducted on 2nd Street between Marshall Street and Hermosilla Street, as well as just west of Sacaton Street, in downtown Casa Grande. Work is scheduled to begin at approximately 4:30 a.m. and continue through Noon. 

During this time, 2nd Street will have minimal lane restrictions, and a Pilot Car will be onsite to provide through traffic flow. Motorists are asked to follow posted signs and drive slowly through the construction. 

Crews will remove damaged roadway sections and complete milling and filling operations as part of the City’s pavement preservation program. This work is intended to address rough surface conditions and improve overall street quality.
