FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: CASA GRANDE MOVES PET LICENSING ONLINE WITH DOCUPET.

New Digital Platform Simplifies Licensing and Enhances Lost Pet Recovery Services 

The City of Casa Grande is making pet licensing easier and more effective by partnering with DocuPet, a global leader in pet identification and lost pet recovery. This new online licensing platform streamlines the process for pet owners while providing free access to DocuPet’s HomeSafe® 24/7 lost pet service, ensuring lost pets are quickly reunited with their families and reducing shelter intakes. 

With this new system, pet owners can conveniently register their pets online and explore a wide selection of designer pet tags or create custom designs. Each DocuPet tag features a unique code linked to the pet’s secure online profile, making it easy for anyone who finds a lost pet to file a Found Pet Report. Pet owners can also submit a Lost Pet Report immediately when their pet goes missing, increasing the chances of a swift reunion. 

"We're excited to offer this new partnership with DocuPet to pet owners in Casa Grande," said Cerise Shanafelt, Animal Control Supervisor. "This easy-to-use licensing service will help reduce the number of animals in shelters, allowing us to focus more resources on pets in critical need." 

The City of Casa Grande’s collaboration with DocuPet enhances the efficiency of local animal services while providing peace of mind to pet owners. "Pets with DocuPet tags typically spend less time in shelters than those without licenses," said Grant Goodwin, CEO of DocuPet. "We’re thrilled to work with the City of Casa Grande to improve pet identification and reunification." 

All cats and dogs in Casa Grande are required to be licensed and vaccinated against rabies. Pet owners can learn more and register their pets online. Licensing is also available by mail, phone, or in person.
