Beginning Monday, June 22, and continuing for approximately two weeks, contractors working on behalf of the City of Casa Grande will begin work within the intersection of Trekell Road and Kortsen Road as part of the Trekell Road Sewer Relief Project.

Construction activities will include manhole installation within the intersection, requiring crews and equipment to operate in the roadway. Motorists should expect traffic shifts and possible delays and are urged to use caution when traveling through the area. Please obey all traffic control devices and the posted 25 mph speed limit to help ensure the safety of workers and the traveling public.

The Trekell Road Sewer Relief Project is a critical infrastructure improvement that will increase sewer system capacity and reliability in the area. The project includes the installation of approximately 4.6 miles of new 18-inch sewer line and 18 manholes. The overall project is anticipated to be completed in January 2027.
