Missing Person Monday Campaign Concludes; Four More Resolved Cases Thanks to Community Support 

The Santa Rosa Police Department (SRPD) is proud to announce the successful conclusion of the latest Missing Person Monday Campaign, which resulted in the resolution of four long-term missing adult cases through community engagement, social media shares, and investigative follow-up.  

Originally launched in January 2024, the Missing Person Monday Campaign was created to bring renewed attention to long-term missing adult cases and generate new investigative leads. Each Monday during the campaign, SRPD highlighted missing adults on its social media platforms, asking community members to review and share their information in hopes of reaching someone who may recognize them or know their whereabouts.  

The community's response continues to make a meaningful impact. During the most recent five-week campaign, detectives received information that led to the confirmation that four featured missing persons are alive and no longer need to be listed in missing persons databases. Since the campaign began in 2024, a total of 18 long-term missing adult cases have been resolved with assistance from community members and the increased visibility provided through social media.  

While these four cases have been successfully resolved, several featured individuals remain missing. Photographs and information for the unresolved cases are being shared as part of this wrap-up announcement, and SRPD encourages the public to review and share them within their own social networks. Even seemingly minor information may provide the lead necessary to locate a missing person and provide answers to their loved ones.
